According to sources, Google may finally decide to officially release a new 5G smartphone model next spring, while releasing an entry-level smartphone. Even if it goes on sale next spring, Google will still be ahead of Apple in the market competition for 5G smartphones.
Sources added that Google’s 5G phones will be equipped with the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform made by American chipmaker Qualcomm. At the same time, next week’s new flagship Pixel 4 series will be equipped with advanced OLED display (organic light-emitting diode screen), similar to Apple’s September 11 iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
